Up for sale is a rare and vintage Victory Printing Co. Inc. / ANC titled publication titled VIM Vol.5 #9, dated September 1958, featuring physique photography of muscular young partially dressed men in posing straps or less. This publication features Jim Schwartz on the cover. The pocket-digest will make a great addition to any collection of LGBT history. This volume appears to be unread but the cover shows wear, and someone tore one page out, see photos for condition.
THIS MONTH'S VIM is sparked by not one, but two (count 'em) two galleries ... a gigantic one kicking off on Page 18 under the title: "WANTED".
You'll note that the "ED" in the word, "Wanted," falls on Page 19, along with a shot of ED Fury, which coincidence introduces the second gallery which is devoted exclusively to that muscular marvel ... beginning with a cut-up of a spread on Pages 12-43 by our layout man who has lately joined a voodoo cult and has taken to sticking pins in dolls and cutting up photographs. He can be dangerous!
ON THE SERIOUS SIDE, there's a long bit about "Progressive Exercise" (Page 6), a neck exercise (Page 12) and a dire note to smokers (Page 40).
THE LITTLE PICTURE (left) of Frank Zupancic was originally on the opposite page, but it slid over here when the presses got hot and slippery.
The following PHOTOGRAPHERS are those who regularly contribute photos for editorial use in VIM's pages. Additional photos of models shown in this issue may be secured by writing directly to the photographer credited. It is best to enclose a dollar to cover costs of catalogs, mailing, etc.
